Actuating Cylinder CabinetsThe actuating cylinder cabinet is installed as the actuating device of the total flooding fire extinguishing system. The actuating cabinet is available in two types i.e. for exposed type and concealed type, use of which is determined accord-ing to the each ship. The cabinets housing for actuating cylinders are equipped with limit switches for stopping the fan and for initiating the evacuation alarms. The cabinets are installed near the entrances to the protected spaces, the fire control center or the CO2 bottle room.●起動容器箱Models KC and FB Selection ValvesThese selection valves allow rapid discharge of CO2 within spaces such as engine room where the total flooding system is installed. The valve is remote opened by gas pres-sure from the actuating cylinder. It is also possible to manually open the valve. The selection valve is housed in selection valve box. This box installed onboard ships subject to NK, JG and ABS Rules is nor-mally kept locked by means of padlock to prevent from tampering. For this box installed onboard ships subject to other rules, switch is installed on their door to sound alarm without fail before discharg-ing CO2.●KC型またはFB型分岐弁Smoke Sampling Type Fire Detection System●In the event of fire, the corresponding indicator lamp lights up immediately, allowing for identification of the fire zone. Smoke can be seen through small window of each detection unit by light from LEDs.
